Life sure can be busy, and it’s all-too-easy for tasks to pile up. Of course, nobody wants their freshly-laundered clothes to get wrinkly or mussed, but sometimes you simply do not have the time to fold your clothes.Don’t stress. There are two easy solutions that will help you keep your just-washed clothes fresh until you have time to properly fold and put everything away.
Option #1: ROLL YOUR CLOTHES
Rolling your clothes is a quick way to keep them wrinkle-free, without taking up a lot of space. In fact, if you’re packing for a trip, rolling your clothes instead of folding them might even free up some space in your suitcase. Start by laying the item flat, and perhaps make a few strategic folds in towards the center before rolling. (Folding pants in half, for example, makes this job a lot easier.) Then, roll up the length of the item, not the width. Once your item is about the size you want it to be, you’re done. It’s that quick! You can then place your items in your drawers or stack them wherever is easiest.
Option #2: LAY YOUR CLOTHES FLAT
Laying your clothes flat is always a great option, especially for clothes that are delicate or sensitive to wrinkles. Do your best to lay each item out in the shape that it’s supposed to look like when worn. You can lay your clothes out on your bed, in your bathtub, on a table, across a chair, or on any unused piece of floor space in your home. You might even be able to lay them flat inside your drawers. If space is hard to come by, a drying rack might help you make the room. Voila! With those two hacks, you’ve now saved your clothes from those dreaded wrinkles, while saving yourself a lot of time.
